Radio Communication
Aquarius.NET was choosen as the main enterprise platform for collection,
maintaining and publication of spatial data. The implementation
allows the retrieval of information about equipment such as its
status, floor plans, asset locations, maintenance schedules and many others as
well as planning for future expansion. As an example some departments use it
for radio planning purposes where the system connects to the external National
mapping center picks up the detailed location map then overlays it with
enterprise specific data for example microwave line and delivers the
results to employee handheld.
